Liz is a Certified Yoga and Relaxation Instructor.  She has been a yoga practitioner since 1988.  She is trained in Hatha Yoga, receiving High Honours in the Yoga Teacher Training Program at Sheridan College.  She  regularly attends conferences and workshops dealing with the therapeutic benefits of yoga.   She has studied with Natasha Rizopoulos, Nischali Devi, Jennifer Weinert, Rodney Yee, Todd Norian and Jason Crandell, and many other Senior Yoga Experts. Her classes are gentle yet challenging, she has a strong anatomy background from her studies in Athletic Therapy and  believes strongly in the importance of  proper alignment.  She strongly believes that everyone can and should incorporate some form of Yoga into their life, everyone needs to find the yoga that is right for them.


Liz has worked extensively in the area of stress management, working with cardiac patients and stroke survivors. She presently teaches Yoga and relaxation at various locations throughout the community, at local hospitals, high schools, fitness centres, and at Baliflex Studio.   In addition to teaching yoga, Liz works in the fitness industry and teaches Yoga Pump, Ball and Strength Classes. As well, Liz designs programs for elite performance specific to sports (Sports Specific Yoga) and personal programs specific to individual needs and conditions.  She also works privately with individuals offering relaxation, breathing and mindfulness techniques.

Liz is also a Holistic Nutritionist and offers her clients wellness, nutritional and lifestyle coaching.
